# WandBot by OzDAO

WandBot is a data-driven AI research tool leveraging @oz\_dao's unrivaled cryptonative social activity monitoring engine for real-time alerts and alpha on new and trending crypto tokens.

## WandBot Overview

WandBot provides tooling to discover, track and analyze a crypto project's social community from the earliest stage. There is significant hidden alpha in mapping and following cryptonative activities on the social graph, and our goal is to uncover market-moving information in a useful and timely manner at a more fine-grained level than anybody.  

WandBot curates as much information as possible towards this by monitoring, aggregating and ranking social interactions that are relevant to crypto projects with liquid tokens. Our monitoring engine leverages OzDAO's original ML classification algorithm designed in 2021 to perform this task in a data-driven manner with a high degree of accuracy. WandBot builds on this with its own engine for tracking liquid tokens onchain data and social interactions.

WandBot Alerts are currently being pushed to a token-gated telegram channel, but its roadmap includes a full-fledged, configurable data platform for research and alpha.

# Setting up WandBot

This page describes how to get started with authentication to access WandBot and its token-gated telegram channels.

# WandBot Onchain x Social Alerts Overview

#### WandBot Onchain x Social Data (WandBot CashTag Analysis Alerts) Channel on Telegram

WandBot currently supports Ethereum and Solana token tracking, and separates the alerts for the two chains for New Contracts and newly Analyzed Contracts. The Activity Alpha Signals channel combines all activity alerts into one topic currently.

# New Contract Onchain X Twitter Alerts

New Contract alerts come as soon as WandBot's cashtag analysis engine picks up social data for a particular live contract or cashtag symbol

#### Overview Section

New contract alerts contain a twitter search link and user score emote along with the found contract name and symbol.

Clicking on the link for the token name and symbol opens a [twitter search](https://twitter.com/search?q=\(\($AUTO\)%20OR%20\(0xeE62411c55e8057Df2bdb956b67Eae23141CF274\)\)\&src=recent_search_click\&f=live) for both the cashtag and the contract address.

This line also contains the score emote for the token, which is based on the highest scoring social interaction for the user. In order of highest score:

# Analyzed (Linked) Contract Alerts

Analyzed contract alerts come as soon as WandBot links a contract to a twitter account associated to the project.

These come with more accurate and meaningful social data for a given project.

# Social Activity Alerts

WandBot's Monitoring Engine is used to track interesting activity on the social graph relevant to trading crypto projects.&#x20;

This enables WandBot to stay on top of budding opportunities in projects that already launched and might be growing their community still.

#### Activity Summary Section

The top of Social Activity Alerts is a activity summary section containing information on the social interaction that occurred to trigger the alert.

The summary contains specific links and information including the interacting user and their score, the project that was interacted with, and data for the tweet in the interaction.&#x20;

These can also show instances where a user follows a project

# Understanding WandBot Signals And Alpha

WandBot is here to help you gauge if a token's community engagement is organic and significant and that the team history has no rugs. Our alerts are curated to maximize this decision making process.

Here are some general tips/guidelines/rules of thumb for understanding the information on these alerts:

1. **Verify that the top ranked tweet matches up with the contract shown.**&#x20;

2. **Verify that top ranked tweets activity is bullish & organic sentiment.**

3. **Look for uniqueness of the project name and cashtag. Many are copycats.**

4. **Look for a green/yellow/orange emoji score. Green > Yellow > Orange > Red > Black.**

5. **Look for a known CT user you respect/think is smart in social activity**

6. **Look for recent interesting activity in tweets**

# Gem Hunter & Categorized Scores

#### Our historical database will be used to analyze the type and quality of a users social interactions. The first application for this will be ranking the top ranking gem-hunters and token callers across all of CT by analyzing the earliest followers and interactions along with our historic social and onchain data for top projects and top tokens.&#x20;

#### This analysis will be dynamic and updated in real time in order for WandBot to automatically follow the best cryptonative traders, investors, builders and influencers for detecting alpha.


# Alpha Signals

#### We are refining our alerting system as we analyze our historic data to categorize information into higher signal and lower signal alerts, in order to perform at a more consistent, higher success rate.&#x20;

#### As we develop our refined scoring categories, sentiment analysis, and continue to react to historical performance, we will be deriving combined scores that consider everything known about a project to provide the highest signal alerts we can.


# Many EVM Chains

#### We currently support the following EVM chains:

Ethereum, Base, and Blast

#### We will soon integrate our alerting system with other EVM chains, including Arbitrum, Avalanche, and more. Our goal is to increase the number of early opportunities available to our users.


# Sentiment Analysis

#### WandBot curates a very high quality dataset for sentiment analysis of current market activities, from its engine for detecting and ranking social interactions on recently trading crypto tokens in real-time.

#### This analysis will be crucial to WandBot's interpretation of incoming information and building intelligence into the system for curating useful, relevant, actionable alerts.


# Custom Alerts and Tracking

#### We will soon enable custom configurable alerts with custom tracking lists for any desired social interaction activity with a multitude of custom filters.

#### You will be able to:

* Track a CT user with alerts configurable based on their follows, tweets, tweets likes activity,  as well as metrics on the type of account they interact with.
* Track a Project/Token with alerts configurable based on the types of interactions that occur.


# Research Platform UX

#### We have dashboards and a research UI in the works to highlight all of the alpha that comes from our monitoring and make this filterable and searchable. You will be able to:

* Rank and filter all tokens based on WandBot's advanced social metrics
* Group tokens by a multitude ecosystems and project types
* Analyze the historic timeline and social x onchain graph for each token since initial social interactions

#### And gain an overview of all early stage tradeable projects throughout the space.


# Deployer + Holder Analysis

#### We will be analyzing deployer and holder wallets to keep our users safe from bad actors. We will accomplish this 4 ways:

* Analyzing all addresses for patterns of activity that are strongly associated with scams
* Determining a wallet's social identity from our database of social-fi activity, addresses scraped directly from twitter, and a probabilistic model for determining a wallet's social identity.
* Blacklisting certain deployer and holder wallets that have been involved in rugs and other scams
* Whitelisting certain addresses that are trustworthy and have minimal or no involvement with scams


# LLM Agent Layer

#### Beyond using our LLM for sentiment analysis, we will leverage it to filter and categorize information to create the most useful timeline of a project's activity from our project monitoring engine.

For example, let's say a project deploys a new liquidity pool or there's a new opportunity for participating in a protocol - you'll get this information before anyone else.


# Train to Earn

#### Our system uses data-driven techniques to map and interpret cryptonative activities, and its performance will be impacted by the breadth and quality of training data that is used in our primary ML models and fine-tuned LLM's.

#### In order to maximize the impact of our algorithms, we will enlist the help of our power-users and motivated cryptonative researchers who seek to mutually benefit from improving the algorithm's quality and timeliness at providing relevant information.

#### Since 2022, OzDAO has benefited from gathering quality ML training data from a small group of its own power users that became motivated by the prospect of improving the product they are using, showing that a positive feedback loop can generate quality data and results for a decentralized, data-driven organization.&#x20;

#### WandBot will take this further with incentivizing a larger group of power users to submit data feedback and labels designed with maximizing the performance of our underlying data-driven models in a train-to-earn system, by rewarding data labelers proportionally to the quality of their contribution. Primarily, the feedback will be used in fine-tuning our LLM Agent Layer.


# WandBot F.A.Q.

## How are the scores calculated?

* Scores are calculated using an algorithm similar to PageRank. The algorithm considers the importance of followers and the quality of their historic interaction behavior. Specifically, it counts all connections where known, influential CTers are a follower. Each follower contributes points to the score, with the value depending on the follower's importance.  The more significant back-connections someone has to these key CTers, especially within a high-importance weighting set, the higher their score. This method allows for recognizing individuals with influential networks, even if they have a smaller number of followers.

## Are the scores dynamic?

* Yes, the scores are constantly being updated based on incoming graph data.
